Online Banking Updates During COVID-19
To help promote social distancing and limit your need to leave your home, we’ve made the following enhancements for your convenience:
To provide customers the ability to transfer money from a savings account to another account or to third parties by pre-authorized, automatic, telephone or computer transfers, we are temporarily waiving all charges in the event you make more than 6 in a statement period.
To allow customers to maximize the ability to make check deposits through mobile devices, the bank is raising the deposit limit from $5,000 per day to $10,000.

Don’t Forget – Debit Card Monitoring
Control your Debit MasterCard® anytime, anywhere with the free Card Valet app. You’ll have the flexibility to manage and monitor your card account to help prevent fraud, receive alerts, set spending limits and geographic restrictions.
- Manage account restrictions for location, merchants, spending limits and types of transactions such as in-store or online purchases
- Control spending by setting dollar limits and geographical restrictions
- Receive alerts for your cards, including dependent cards
- Monitor your account conveniently and securely
- Protect against ATM fraud by disabling/enabling transactions when needed
- Block merchant types
- Disable/Enable your card in between purchases
- Disable e-commerce purchases if you don’t shop online
- Set monthly or per transaction amount spending limits
Fraud Text Messaging
Occasionally you may receive text messages from Coastal Heritage Bank asking for you to authenticate a specific transaction. These transaction alerts are generated when there is eCommerce activity that may not align with your spending patterns. Please respond to these text alerts to let us know whether or not the transaction in question is valid. This process helps protect customers and the Bank from potential fraud.
Branch Lobbies Remain Closed
We have determined that closing our branch lobbies until further notice allows us to implement social distancing to reduce the risk of spreading the virus to our customers and branch employees.
ATM’s & Drive-Up Windows Open
Teller transactions can be conducted at our ATM’s 24 hours a day and our drive-up windows during our regular business hours. Drive-up employees are required to sanitize between transactions. ATM’s are sanitized regularly throughout the day. Customers who require an in-person meeting to complete a transaction, such as a loan closing or to access a safe deposit box may do so by Branch appointment only. Please call 800-695-1300 if you need to schedule a Branch appointment.
