All Deposits Insured In Full
Coastal Heritage Bank is proud to be a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF). This means that all customers’ deposits are insured in full. Regardless of the number of accounts or the total funds, Coastal Heritage Bank’s deposits are safe and secure. All types of bank deposit accounts are covered, including savings accounts, checking accounts, certificates of deposit (CDs), money market deposit accounts, and retirement deposit accounts. The first $250,000 per depositor is insured by the FDIC. All deposits above the FDIC insurance limits are insured by the DIF. Both the FDIC and DIF take precaution in monitoring their members’ financial health. Formal examinations are conducted by the FDIC and the Massachusetts Division of Banks and the DIF evaluates its members’ financial reports regularly.
Branch Lobbies Closed
Our branch lobbies remain closed until further notice to allow us to implement social distancing and reduce the risk of spreading the virus to our customers and branch employees.
ATMs & Drive-Up Windows Open
Teller transactions can be conducted at our ATMs 24 hours a day and our drive-up windows during our regular business hours. Drive-up employees are required to sanitize between transactions. ATMs are sanitized regularly throughout the day. Drive-up window service is available in Scituate, Marshfield, Hanover, Hingham, Green Harbor, Norwell, Weymouth, East Weymouth, Kingston, Lynn, Nahant, East Bridgewater, and Quincy (Franklin Street).
Interactive Teller Machines (ITM’s) are available at Washington Street, Quincy (drive-up), 744 Broad Street in East Weymouth (drive-up) and Union Point in Weymouth (walk-up).
Customers who require an in-person meeting to complete a transaction, such as a loan closing or to access a safe deposit box may do so by Branch appointment only. Please call 800-695-1300 if you need to schedule a Branch appointment.
Online Banking & Mobile Access
We also want you to have confidence that you can bank virtually anywhere, anytime with the Coastal Heritage Bank app and at https://coastalheritagebank.com. We strongly encourage you to use these digital tools and other resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access. These digital channels allow you to make payments, view transactions, check balances, find one of our 55,000 free ATMs and more. It’s easier and faster (in most cases) to manage your account digitally, especially given call wait times may be longer than usual.
